We wish you a hearty welcome to Big Water Sailing Club. Our Club's Mission is to encourage participation and fellowship through involvement in sailing activities. The Club is based at Big Water Marina on Lake Hartwell. We are located just north of the Lake Hartwell Dam on the South Carolina side of the lake just off Highway 29. The Club has been active since 1992. We have the most accessible open sailing conditions on the lake. If you like cruising or racing, we have the widest expanse of deep water in the Upstate - enjoy the water, enjoy the Club. Our Club
We have approximately 25 families involved with the Club. Our membership is growing again now that the lake is back up to full pond. Most of the events, except for racing and the Commodore's Ball, take place in the Spring and Fall. We try to involve not only those that like to race, but those that might like to cruise to new destinations on the lake or try new fun events.
As you can see on the left, we have some fun events coming up. Check them on the FACEBOOK Calendar!! We will have barbecues this summer: Memorial Day Weekend, the week before the Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekend.
